Lavender, my all-time favourite essential oil, has a floral, fresh, sweet, and herbaceous aroma. While encouraging deep breathing, relaxing muscle spasms and soothing muscular aches and pains, Lavender essential oil can be instrumental in providing you with the sleep you need.
On an emotional level, Lavender is balancing, calming, nurturing, and sedative (sleep). It also helps to reduces nervous exhaustion and anxiety while calming the stress response and relieving nervous tension.
Roman Chamomile essential oil has a sweet, fruity, pungent aroma. The essential oil has sedative and calming properties. It is used to calm excessive thinking, dispel anger, and relieve stress. It can safely be used for children to calm hyperactivity as well as promote a night of ‘sleeping like a baby’. It also relieves muscle spasms, relaxing the muscles so you can get a good night sleep.
Frankincense – The aroma is balsamic and warm. Clary sage has a strong affinity to the feminine, and is used as a hormonal balancer as well as to relieve PMS and associated cramps and mood swings. Clary sage essential oil is calming, euphoric, decreases tension and nervousness, reduces irritation, anger, depression, sexual problems, and hyperactivity. It can help distance people from their problems and align ourselves without rue feelings and dreams; harmonizing feelings and emotions.
Vetiver essential oil is earthy, warm and deep. Vetiver is one of the most grounding and centring essential oils. As a sedative and relaxing essential oil it can help relieve insomnia caused by nervous tension. Vetiver is considered to be a potent nervine (calming the nervous system), antispasmodic, and aphrodisiac essential oil. It calms and relaxes muscles.
